Extension appears in toolbar and extensions detail window, but clicking on the icon does nothing. New since latest beta installed.

Does right clicking on the icon also not work? It's completely unresponsive? Just need a little more detail. I installed the 1password extension for 72.01b and it works on my end.

Have you tried removing and reinstalling? You should be able to log back in and restore all your saved passwords without losing your data if you do this.

Let me know what happens.

Thanks.

Right clicking the icon in the topmost window bar shows a menu of three items - preferences, open 1Password (it IS open), and quit completely. I attempted to remove and replace, but Firefox blocks this effort after removal and before the download.

The 1Password tech support group suggested special logging software. Review of that log revealed some remnants of old versions of 1Password were buried deep within a library. After removing them and rebooting the machine, all is well.
