How do I eliminate double spacing when composing an e-mail when I hit Enter?

Hi Rob, are you having this problem on a particular webmail site (like Outlook, Yahoo! mail or Gmail), or in Thunderbird?
As a general comment, HTML editors often insert a new paragraph when you press Enter. If you want a line break without a new paragraph break, you can press Shift+Enter.
