Move archive folder

I'm trying to create an archive in my local folders but have already archived a year's worth of emails in the email account folder. Is it possible to move the existing archive to a local folder within TB?

Also, I'm confused about the difference between a local folder, and a folder that's part of the email account. Is a local folder somehow different?
