Bookmarks Disappeared

My mobile bookmarks (and all my other bookmarks for that matter) have disappeared from firefox on mu ipod touch. Here's the sequence of events:

-Opened firefox app -Used bookmark link from the new tab page -Closed that tab and opened a new one -New tab has no bookmarks listed, also missing the folder that usually allows me to access my other bookmarks.

This happened in the middle of a session, with no update to either firefox or ios. I have restarted the app and signed back into firefox sync after disconnecting. The mobile bookmarks are still present because I can find them on desktop. I have forced a sync several times with no help. The iPod is showing the last sync to be correct (minutes ago) and desktop firefox shows the same.
