I keep getting messages in my browser that says "Debug" but do not understand how to deal with them - my screen will usually freeze soon after - help please!
Unfortunately, when the screen freezes, I cannot take a picture!

If you have a cel phone, try its camera.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
That is usually about a script that slows down Firefox.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
