How do I create a bookmark (clicking the star does not work)?
I sought to create a bookmark, and went to the Firefox help page, which told me to go to the page I want to bookmark and click the star in the menu bar. I did. No bookmark. TIA for all aid.

Which version of firefox are you using? I know that in older versions of Firefox, it was unclear that a page had actually been bookmarked when the star was pressed. If the page has been bookmarked, the blue star should jump to the icon next to it.
If this is not working, try going to the 'Bookmarks' menu and pressing 'bookmark this page'.
