Hello, I have a problem which occurs 2 or 3 times a week of JAVA being turned off in my browser, to rectify the problem i go to about:config and turn it back on, i am concerned of how it is being turned off in the first place

Which preferences are affected?

Websites can't change preferences, so the most likely vector is an add-on or settings file. These key preference files in your profile folder are read only at startup:

  • prefs.js
  • user.js (optional, doesn't exist by default)
