After updaing my OS-X to 10.11 El Capitan, I've been getting a ton of Firefox crashes. They happen most often when I shift-click to open a link in a new window, but the crash can happen at any time.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it and select Submit.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

THANK YOU Fred, but that did not resolve my problem. I disabled WebGL (which appears to be something native in the browser / computer) and updated Java.

I've seen a few threads about crashes with a similar signature, so try the suggestions posted there.

Hey Cor thanks for the reply!

Turning off acceleration slowed how rapidly it would crash, but I still crashed. I was trying to run a multi-site travel search (opened price comparisons in 5 windows from 5 sites) and it was immediately crashing. After turning off acceleration I was able to complete those price comparisons but I soon crashed again when on another site. No corrupt fonts found.

Thanks for the help.

But I'm not diving in to other applications' preferences that usually aren't even open when the crashes occur but just happen to have been last time.

Everything was fine with Firefox before I upgraded to v41. I'll be using another browser until Mozilla gets their act together.
