when i open Firefox only black screen appears

When i open firefox only black screen appears and menu or nothing display. I have uninstall firefox and re install it.But problem still same. Please help

Getting a black screen after updating to Firefox 33 can be caused by a problem with hardware acceleration in Firefox. You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver.

You can use one of these to start Firefox in Safe Mode:

  • On Windows, hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox with a double-click on the Firefox desktop shortcut

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
