Got a new MacBook recently. I've been trying to figure out why cmd + click/enter stopped opening new tabs. (It always opens the link/URL in current tab.) Looked into preferences and couldn't find anything.

This applies to all websites.

What happens if you use this hot key with the Safe Mode of Firefox?

To start Firefox in Safe Mode:

  1. Click on the menu button in the top right-hand corner
  2. Click on ? below and select Troubleshooting Information
  3. Click on Restart with Add-ons Disabled
