If this is possible, how do I create filters for incoming emails from specific writers and/or subjects to go directly to specific folder/sub-folders? (I'm looking through the info here, but haven't come across this.)

If letterboxing (anti-fingerprinting) is used or when a webpage is smaller than the window (such as in about:config), Firefox fills in the rest of the window using a dark gray. I want to make it completely black.

My Firefox toolbar used to show the address box, and at the end of the address box was a search box. After the last update, the search box disappeared and I would like to get it back. I used it constantly because it would hold my search and if I needed to tweak it a bit, it was still there and easy to do. Now I have to type the search in the address box and it goes away immediately. There was also a drop-down that listed my last few searches. The address bar goes almost completely across the page. Is there a way to get my search box back at the end of the address box? Thank you.

I changed my language from Arabic and back, and now I see a little line attached to my cursor within all web pages that I visit, that I believe was added as a result of my language change to Arabic and then back. I have attached screenshots of what a normal cursor looks like vs what my cursor in firefox looks like now. I have not had this happen before today when I have switched between languages in the past. It looks normal within the Firefox address bar, but not within text boxes within web pages.

My current language settings are set to US English, but I keep the others as alternates to switch back and forth between.

I have tried doing this with OMA-URI with intune with the below ./Device/Vendor/MSFT/Policy/Config/Applications/Firefox/Distribution/Policies

This is the value I have set

However, the above is still not working - can you recommend a OMA-URI and string that would block access or grey out these buttons in Mozilla Firefox?

Hi . I have latest Firefox browser on win11 and from some time i got problems with no sound for my "Eversolo DAC-Z8" . I can play sound thru the browser only on my TV when i set on mixer sound from TV but unfortunaty sound cant go other ways . I dont know what is going on becuse on oldest Firefox browser was no problems .

I've done some changes to my fonts and other settings and some of my websites are having issues. how do I do a browser re-set to go back to the original settings

Is there a way to permanently prohibit message synchronization for all users via GPO or about:config in the settings, synchronization & storage space? I would like to prevent users from being able to synchronize messages offline.

I am experiencing an issue with HEVC hardware decoding in Firefox on Windows 10.

System information:

OS: Windows 10 (latest updates installed) Browser: Firefox ESR 128.8 GPU: (your GPU model) GPU driver version: (your driver version) Problem: In about:support under the "Media" section, I see that HEVC (H.265) hardware decoding is not supported, while on Windows 11 with the same hardware, it works correctly.

What I have tried:

Installed HEVC Video Extensions from the official Microsoft website. Enabled hardware decoding in about:config: media.hardware-video-decoding.enabled → true media.wmf.hevc.enabled → true Updated GPU drivers to the latest version. Checked HEVC support via FFmpeg – decoders are available. Expected result: Firefox should use HEVC hardware decoding on Windows 10, just like it does on Windows 11.

Actual result: HEVC is only supported in software mode, and hardware decoding is not working.

Could you please help me resolve this issue?

All of a sudden the drop menu in focus includes "Ask Bing" and there is apparently no way to remove this. There are other options included in the list of options that I would like to remove as well. As well, the drop menu window doesn't expand to accommodate all these options: Search in Focus is hidden at the bottom of the list. Essentially, the only way to open a new tab in Focus is to access the drop menu and select Search in Focus

I am using POP mail on Thunderbird android. Is there a setting which will cause messages I have read to be deleted from server? In Thunderbird for Linux I can untick "Leave message on server" in account settings but I cannot find a similar setting in Thunderbird for android. Version 8.2 Thank you Donald Aitken
