NOTE - I HAVE ALREADY TOGGLED OFF ALWAYS REQUEST DESKTOP SITE. Since the latest update (6/2025), Firefox is always showing the desktop site EVEN THOUGH I HAVE TOGGLED OFF THE ALWAYS REQUEST DESKTOP SITE (SEE PHOTO). I have checked my settings, cleared cache, restarted my tablet (I'm on a Samsung Tab A8). See photos attached. I host services on my local network like: miniflux.thepromised.lan and usually accessed them by going to the short hostname directly like: http://miniflux and it just worked great until a few Firefox releases ago. I don't know when it stopped working but I can't get firefox to use my local DNS servers on my own wifi to resolve these local addresses.

My current workaround is to connect to my local vpn and force all traffic that way. No other app on my android device has this issue. Chrome works exactly as expected. I can also open a live dashboard to my pihole instance and watch in real time for dns queries that come over the wire. I can't get firefox to use these local servers at all.

What am I doing wrong?

The past couple of months have seen a couple of updates to the Firefox browser, on both my Samsung tablet and phone. I have noticed that, as a result, the Firefox browser has become less stable than before. I have been using it for well over a decade without any problems. The primary website visited is ProFootballTalk, mostly the 'Rumor Mill' section of the website. The first page is fine. However, when I check additional pages, I begin to experience delays, followed by jumping around to the top or bottom of the new or previous page, and sometimes even going to older versions previously viewed.

Initially, I had thought that, maybe, it could be the website causing these problems. However, it was suggested to me to try a different browser. So I downloaded the 'DuckDuckGo' app, to check as a comparison. I have not been experiencing this issue with the new browser.

I have Firefox on my Android devices.. 5 of them.

I just woke up and saw an alert on my phone that Firefox was misbehaving again. This time eating up my data in the background while I am asleep!!

How to stop this please?

I don't know from which version of FF it started exactly, but recently loading of websites starts after huge pause or fails at all, the same is with elements of web pages if those are located on different domain. This is only FF problem, other browsers load pages instantly. I have tried to delete cache, data and FF completely and reinstall anew, it doesn't help. I can only guess what causes it, probably some DNS connection issues.

On Facebook, or other websites that have a text enter box that appears on the bottom, my keypad covers it and I need to scroll up to see what I've typed in and it Zooms back up to cover the text box as soon as I input a key. Whats going on?

Every time I have a slow download speed that causes failure after interruption, I have to open the system's own browser, but the system's built-in browser is dozens of times the download speed, and there has never been a failure. The web page opening speed I have tested with the same search engine Bing search shows that the system only takes 3 seconds. Although the mobile version of Firefox also opens in seconds, it takes six seconds. I like Firefox very much, but it would be better if the mobile version could be improved.

When playing back audio via Bluetooth it cuts out and pops every few seconds. This is not a Bluetooth or network issue I have tested that. Firefox app version 138.0.4 Android version 15 on pixel 8

Hi there, I am facing a problem in some website while using Firefox Beta. When I allow access to my camera and microphone, then granting permission dialog box is shown again and again no matter how much I click in "Continue ".

In other browsers there is an option to always allow the full access to the microphone and camera so in those cases the problem won't happen. Can we adjust Firefox Beta so that it can allow a website to always access microphone and webcam without asking? Thank you in advance

Secure Connection Failed This happens only on FIREFOX. NOT any other browsers that I have. I contacted the tech group on the site that I receive this message for the last 3 or four months. They checked everything on their end...it is a browser issue!

Hello Firefox group, the translation of countries and site text is very limited, and most of the add-ons are not useful, and you can't go to Web Park with Firefox.
