Hi

I am trying to install Firefox on a new iPad. I keep being sent in circles telling me to download it before trying to get extensions. But it shows on the homepage of my unit and appears installed. What am I doing wrong? I have gone to the App Store several times to “open” it.

Recently, I switched to Edge on iOS while I am searching for a browser with adBlock function implemented. Safari with the extensions does not really block all the ads on some websites, especially the shady ones. Edge is able to block the ads with Adblock Plus integrated in their setting. It basically works all the time, but sometimes it blocks the video sources too, but no worries there is a whitelist you can manually add.

Is it possible for Firefox iOS to add this kind of adBlocker in the app? I hope so because I really like Ff desktop and Android, but I had to use iOS.

Is there a way I can purchase the Mozilla VPN outside USA ?. I’m in Australia and have the error message “Cannot purchase VPN because the currency of my country is different to the offer currency” even if I use PayPal. ?. I thought the whole concept of a VPN was anonymity !!

Most of audience is on mozilla firefox but they are facing difficulties in opening it on firefox for IOS while the audience on other platforms are easily using it. I recently saw FF was available for ios. I tried to download it, but my iphone is only on ios 12.5.5, with no further updates to higher numbers, and FF now only seems to support 13+ But I see numerous older references to support for 12. Where do I find it?

Any workaround ideas for installing Firefox on "new" iPad with OS 12.5.5 that son bought father for Father's Day gift? I love Firefox, my default on old iPhone and new iMac (and old iMac). Thanks, Pat Terry

Can I add Firefox and still keep Safari and switch between them? One reason would be that I have so much stuff in Safari—hundreds of tabs open, folders, history—that I wouldn’t want to lose, and even if there’s a way to move it all to Firefox, I’m not sure that I’d trust that nothing would be lost. But there are a number of things I run up against that aren’t compatible with Safari, so I need to have an alternative for those times, without being forced into the googleverse with Chrome. Thanks. Before you deny anything it worked before yer update and now it has everything attached to Firefox browser. [removed]
