Bonjour ! Je n'ai plus la possibilité de marquer des pages et je ne retrouve plus mes anciens marques pages. Ceci arrive depuis que j'ai installé l'anti track d'Avast mais je ne sais pas si ça a un rapport ! J'utilise Windows 11 sur PC Merci pour votre aide.

I'm running Firefox (136.0.1) on my mac laptop (MacOs 15.1) Just recently it has started silently failing. I move away from the window and after a short period (hour or so) I can see it is no longer running. When I start it again it offers to recover the session for me.

I've tried checking about:crashes but it just says no crash reports have been submitted. There are no details of unsubmitted reports.

I seem to have tried everything to enabke me to access Microsoft365 but every time I try it ells me mo cookies are set to not alow it to be accessed

Is there a method that I haven'd discovered how to do it ?

Why does it take Firefox so long to load after an update? sometimes it will take upwards of 20 minutes. ON some occasions I have to close the browser and start it numerous times!

I cannot install the Dashlane Password Manager extension. Attempts to do so result in an interminable bouncing back and forth of the "install progress 'pong image'" I've been a faithful Firefox user for over a decade, it's my favorite browser. I've never had an issue with using the Dashlane extension. I recently did a complete reboot on my laptop to restore settings and speed but have been unable to install Dashlane after reinstalling Firefox. I'm using Edge in the meantime :(.

Latest Firefox. Actions: 1. clear the cache. 2. exit FF. start Resource Monitor 3. start FF and monitor network connections. Have at least 20 outgoing internet connections. Why so many internet connections and how to disable them in FF ???? windows Thanks.

I have been instructed to update by March 14th. I have complied, but am still receiving the instruction to update, and have now been told I must update or lose the service. I have updated over and over again

When I open Zen Browser, instead of showing the home page with my pinned pages and weather, I get a black screen. This is kind of frustrating because I have tried so many times to fix the problem but it doesn't work. I need your help, thanks.

Please help me. Firefox disappears when I open a second app on top of it (i.e. MS Word or Mac Mail). Full screen is not selected. If I put Firefox in split screen (which is not what I want), there is no option to open a second app in other half of screen.

I generally resist updates unless they actually promise to fix a problem I'm having or have new features I desire.

But your latest update popped up promising that my original version would stop working on March 14 so I figured I'd better this time. (There's something disturbingly totalitarian about the whole internet security regime but I guess that's a subject for another day.

Now google.com loads and nothing else, not even Firefox.com. (I had to access using an old, old, old version under Windows 7 on a laptop to get here.)

The only suggestion I got from the help files has to do with my firewall and security settings but I don't have a firewall or any other security except whatever is built in to Firefox.

What next?

(Sorry, the shared data won't help, coming from a different machine. I wasn't thinking when I hit it.)

Is there a way to change the defaults profile path.

For example, in the profiles.ini :

Name=default IsRelative=1 Path=Profiles/be7er9lz.default Default=1

this is a relative path referring to %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\[PathVariableValue]

Is there a way to change a config file or config to customise the path for all users a windows computer ?

For example :

setting this variable to \\nameofserver\Firefox\

will made all relatives profiles looking for : \\nameofserver\Firefox\[PathVariableValue]

without this option, I should be obliged to edit all users profiles.ini to change path to absolute

For whatever reason Firefox decided it would save the redacted version of my bank ID.

Let's say my bank ID is 1234-ABCD. It has saved ******CD.

This requires me to delete it every time before accessing my account, which might be fine if selecting it then pressing delete didn't result in it re-autofilling, by the looks of things, or just ignoring the delete request.

I've deleted the erroneous entry from autofill, this has not solved the issue, and I have tried clearing that website in particular's cache; yet I'm greeted every time by the redacted version of the ID sitting in the text box, still requiring me to remove it twice before I can fill in the correct details without even having it saved in autofill.

I don't know what else to do. Any ideas?

I updated Firefox from 136.0 to 136.0.1 last night. When I reloaded and checked the version number, I got the display "Firefox is being updated by another instance". I tried closing and reopening a few times but the result remained the same. I then rebooted the PC but no difference. I shutdown the PC and went to bed. This morning the issue was still there until I logged into my Mozilla account via google in order to type this message.. I checked the version number while typing and now it checked for updates and displays "Firefox is up to date".

So problem solved. Just curious why it happened?

I have untoggled the spellcheck but whenever I send an email in Outlook it still underlines supposedly incorrect words. Now I am sending emails in German on a "German"keyboard. Would this make a difference ? I hope to be able to do an email without the annoying red underlines when the words are correct.

The other day, several of my extensions were automatically uninstalled from a bunch of my devices. After going through and reinstalling most of them, the reinstalled extensions don't seem to be propagating to other devices via sync. Newly installed extensions that I didn't have installed before seem to propagate fine. Is there some way I can fix the extension data on my account so that they start syncing properly again?
