this website 'https://m.nearbyme.io/search' automatically opening in a new tab. How i can stop it from automatically opening? Many other websites are also automatically opening in new tabs.

Please let me know how to stop these websites from automatically opening.

Hello! I have been inspired to customize Firefox to make it look like version "4" from this reddit post!

One of the things that I cannot find is how to get the old Firefox 4 icons. Is there an official site that has them or should I search or the source code of Firefox from version 4?

Thanks guys for screwing up my day with your latest update. I used to be able to download a .pdf and opening it in my ,pdf reader. I NEED to do this for tax reconciliation purposes. Now your crappy program has decided to open .pdfs in itself and I cant get a downloaded copy any more. What the hell was the programmer thinking? Yes I have gone to Applications and checked that it is set to my .pdf reader. Please fix this before I get fined by the tax office.

Whenever I navigate in a video or go fullscreen on YouTube there's a painfully loud crackle, I use the site frequently so I'd appreciate a fix because it's very painful for my ears.

I have been using Firefox as my default browser in Windows for a number of years without problems until recently. However I now find that, when I log on to sites where I have accounts, I am not automatically signed in. When I select sign in I am taken to a sign-in page where, on some accounts, , my usernames and passwords are already filled in. I have tried following Firefox guidelines with regard to settings and options, all to no avail. Can you assist me please.

I'm really not sure how something like this can happen but I have lost access to your products. My favorites, passwords, DuckDuckgo, background, and everything. I thought that once I signed into Firefox again all these saved items would come back but nothing has. It's like someone pushed a button and changed my world using all the products that you offer. I don't know how to retrieve these needed items and I'm hoping hard you can return my Mozilla world to me. I don't really understand how this could have happened but I'm hoping it wasn't something I did. I can't give you any hints that might explain how something like this could happen. When I tried to sign into firefox Microsoft Edge offered to provide the password but I don't want to go near their products. It seems when you go that way Microsoft will add a dozen things I don't want. I'd like to thank you for any and all help you can provide to me. Also thanks for your time. The shift+esc keyboard shortcut now opens the Process Manager....

How do I change this shortcut? Or get rid of it altogether? Every time I shift+esc the process manager opens and it's just unnecessary.

It seems like almost every time I do a Windows Update on and sometimes when I just restart my Lenovo IdeaPad 3 my language gets changed from American English to French. Even some of the add-ons change preferences. Since I don't speak or read French it can be a real hassle to get everything changed back. What I usually end up doing is going to the page on the Mozilla site that has different downloads for different languages and I download the correct one. Once I install it over the existing installation things go back as they should be until I do another Windows Update or like I said before, sometimes after just a restart. This just happened again a few hours ago when I did a Windows Update. All the menu items and drop downs were suddenly in French. My Forecast Fox changed to Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. My Notifier for GMail changed to French. A couple log in pages for some web pages were in French. This never happened with other laptops I have had that were different brands. I once tried just uninstalling Firefox and then reinstalling the correct language version and things were fine until the next time I did an update. My preferences are set to how I want them and I just don't understand why it keeps getting changed.

Hi, I just discovered something odd. Trying to troubleshoot something with an android app communicating via web and laptop to free up the phone, and the relevant website has a chat popup and Firefox won't open the popup. I added the website to the whitelist and saved, but still wouldn't. Tried troubleshooting mode, but nothing. Switched to Chrome and it works fine. Cleared cookies and cache and restarted Firefox, but still no luck. The website is ExpressVPN.com. Macbook Pro OS10.14, Firefox up to date, version 115.1.0esr (64-bit).

Hi. Is there a way to customize the order of Firefox headers and footers on printed pages (including print-to-pdf)?

I prefer the header to be url only, in the center. While the footer has page on left; title in the center, and date on the right.

This used to be easy to accomplish with print options in older versions, then -- as the print dialog changed (and actually improved a lot in most *other* ways) I had to turn to about:config modifications like those described in the 1/27/21 reply here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1323433. But now I can't seem to find any way to have any control over print headers besides "on" and "off."

One problem I find with having both page title and url on top is that these can be long, causing one or both to be truncated.

I'm using Firefox 115.3esr.

I received the following message after logging in to an online acct. and wanted to review my online bill:

"The address wasn’t understood. Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (javascript) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context. You might need to install other software to open this address."

Any thoughts or resolve? Also, I'm using AdBlocker Ultimate which I took via Firefox suggestion/recommendation.

I installed TotalAV webshield & now firefox won't open full screen. I disable webshield, Firefox opens full screen. BUT I use webshield on chrome with NO ISSUES. I contacted TotalAV, and they said the issue is with Firefox. So...why is Firefox having an issue opening fullscreen when I enable webshield?

I would like to know how I can middle click with my scroll wheel to open a bookmark in a new tab, but not be dumped straight into that new tab. I like opening multiple tabs at once before going into them.

For the past few days, when I try to log on to PlayStation on Firefox, the sign-in page sits on a loading swirl after inputting email. There's a clear memory leak shown on Task Manager. The menu bar's right-click doesn't draw properly. FF can't be closed and needs to be terminated. The only extension I have is uBlock Origin disabled for this site.

This website works on Edge.

Hello this is Don. I am using Win10 with Firefox 120.0 64 Bit as my default browser I am having a problem with logging in to The Sony Community Forum where I help Sony users. I enter my email as my Sign in ID then press enter to get to the password screen and it goes to the spinning grey circle on a white screen. My Memory and CPU gets really high and my browser locks up and I have to go to task manager and End Task for all Firefox processes to unlock it. I have no problem getting in to the website with MS Edge but I hate using it but I have to in order to sign in to Sony Community Forum and help users. I have have done a full system scan for malware with Norton, MSERT, Malwarebytes and Windows Defender. I have done a REFRESH of Firefox and I have even uninstalled and re-installed Firefox and nothing helps. I have it set to auto clear everything under History including Cache and Cookies. There is something about this Forum that for the past week will not let me in. I have emailed my Sony Advocacy leader and he is having the Web Site Team looking into it. This is the only website I cannot log in to. I have used Firefox for years and do not want to have to go to something else.

I find that OneNote Web Clipper extension is not available for Firefox now. I'm sure it used to be. Why is it not available and is there a workaround to be able to use it still in FF? Windows 11.
