No matter what page I go to, the circle at the top of the tab that indicates the page loading only moves if the mouse is also moving. When the mouse stops, the circle stops, and the page does not load further. While on video sites such as youtube, this is even more of a problem, as I cannot pause a playing video without the browser freezing up.

Attempting to scroll (without actually clicking on the scrollbar) up or down a page has a similar problem: I can scroll down, but the page will not move until I move the mouse proper. And then it just jumps down to wherever I scrolled it to - usually further than I needed, since I can't see where I'm scrolling this way.

Also, I seem to not be able to play flash games or similar things without the browser freezing, in much the same manner as the youtube videos.

It's very inconvenient, and only started a few days after I downloaded an update for firefox. My laptop was close and on sleep mode, with several browsers up and running (perfectly functional the night before). When I opened it the next morning, firefox was behaving this way.
