Where can I find an oldersion of Firefox to install?
I just installed FF 4.01 and am NOT happy with it! I want to get an older version and install it instead.

What don't you like? Maybe it's easy to fix. Give us a try. :-)

Here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See Backing up your information. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 4.
You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!
Thank you for the link. Actually, I found it myself by Googling 'older versions of Firefox'. I chose to uninstall FF 4.01 after backing up my bookmarks. Everything is copacetic again!
FYI...
FF 4.01 drastically slowed down my computer (an older Pentium 5, WIN-XP, SP3). Also, I missed the symbolic links on the address bar (reload, stop loading and home.
Thanks again for your help!
Also, I missed the symbolic links on the address bar (reload, stop loading and home.
Home follows the address box, and the others were combined into a single Stop / Go / Reload button at the end of the address box. Not a popular change with everyone!
if you are using ubuntu (i know you are not but future people might) search for packages on the website
