FF 4 forces logoff at login to schwab.com but FF 3.6.8 & Safari OK

After updating to OS X 10.6.7 and FF 4.0, CharlesSchwab.com won't load if home page is one of the Research Pages (Markets, Stocks, etc.). After login, the proper page loads but then immediately switches to a "you have been logged off page".

Schwab says it is a 3rd party cookie problem and indeed, changing preferences to accept 3rd party cookies does solve the problem. However, having always denied 3rd party cookies in Safari and in previous versions of FF never caused a problem with this secure website.

I want to use FF 4.0 but do not want to allow 3rd party cookies. Is there a solution or suggestion?
