Keeping vpn on at all times
Hello. I am using Android 11 with the VPN. I am happy with it so far, just subscribed today. I am having one issue, though. Some apps tend to stay active even when you push the clear all button to clear running apps. I have a bad tendency to clear apps to free up the phone when I'm done using them. Is there a way to make the VPN persistent so it runs in the background, kind of like Facebook or other apps that stay active when you click the clear all button? I keep turning the VPN off and this is not what I want. Thank you for taking the time to read this and know that any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hey, Can I know which device you are using? Often there are manufacturer's like Xiaomi who allow you to lock an app in the recents page thus even if you clear the apps in the recents page that particular app would stay there. So check if there is a similar option for your device.

You ended up solving my problem. There is no button or icon to lock the app on the OnePlus 8 5G. I kept looking for one and ended up pressing on the tile in the recents and held my finger there for a moment and guess what popped up - a menu with the ability to lock the app. Thank you so much. I couldn't understand why it wasn't persistent by itself but this does the trick. I never would have found it without the prompting :-)
