Hi, My computer crashed and I had to reinstall the operating system. Subsequently I can’t access Fox Sports Go. I view it through my Verizon television subscription. I'm running Windows 7 on a Dell desktop. I have the current Adobe Flash player and I have Firefox set to ask if it should be allowed on the site which it does and I click on allow. I don’t have a check mark next to block pop-ups. I don’t have the box checked for blocking trackers. I have U-block disabled. When I click on an event to watch initially the commercial comes on and plays then the player tries to load content but never does leaving me with the blank player. Subsequently if I try again the commercial does not play again and neither does content. Any thoughts as to what setting is preventing me from watching? Thanks.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.

Firefox shows the shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case Content Blocking is blocking content.

  • click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection

You can check the Web Console about what content is blocked

Are you sure the website uses the Flash plugin and not the HTML5 media player for the videos?

Thanks for your reply. The only extension I see is U-Block which is turned off on the site. There is no shield showing on the site. Tracking is allowed and blocking is disabled. The site uses Flash. I was able to access on Firefox being reinstalling it after reinstalling my operating system Thanks for your help but I seem to have ticked off all those boxes. Regards, Andy

Just to update you I have regained access to the games but I don’t understand how. I opened Firefox in safe mode to see if the games would play and they wouldn’t. So I closed it and reopened it. Then I went to the website and the games came right on. It’s very bizarre. I’m very pleased at the outcome but wondered if anyone had any insight into why this worked. Thanks.
