hello - i want to update all our laptops and desktops (win7x64) with FF Quantum 62.x.x

there is a problem only, browser crashes everytime the windows file picker dialog is called (e.g. for uploading or downloading a file). searched around already and found "solution" is to disable "expand to current folder" in windows explorer options. (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1245434) this works but we need this option enabled, and this bugzilla topic seems abandoned(?) also i found that it only seems to crash in the x64 instance of FF - if using 32-bit FF it doesn't crash (either with or without "expand to current folder" being set).

anyone can contribute knowledge to that? i'd like to roll out updated browser, and of course use the most modern (x64) variant.

cheers, Michael
