install a gmail acoount
I, and with many others, have the following problem: If I want to create a gmail account in Thunderbird via IMAP, I will arrive at the following screen:
see word doc.
Whatever I click or do not react in test. We have tried several gmail acoount. All account work via login on the site. Everything that is mentioned on the internet does not work. The security through the site has also been reduced. All virus scanners are disabled, Java updated or reinstalled. And again: many more people have this problem, but no one has received a solution. What else can we (I) do?
Chosen Solution

You have allowed cookies in Thunderbird? You have enabled SMTP and IMAP or POP access on the gmail website?
Telling us you have tried everything isn't helpful. That doesn't tell us what you haven't tried.
Java is irrelevant here; you may be thinking of JavaScript, which is a key part of Thunderbird, but since Thunderbird doesn't run JavaScript in email messages, this won't be relevant.
Modified
Yes I have allowed coockies. Also i have disaabled all my virusscanners and I have created a new account because I thought that the password was too short. (Now 8 positions). By the way thank you for your quick response.
And i have enabled SMTP and IMAP access on the gmail website.
My language is limited to English, however, it looks like you information is a mess.
Right click the folder pane and select settings in the gereral settings for the acount that open. confirm your email address is not in the messaed up format shown in your images.
In server settings ensure your user name is your email address. and that the server name is imap.gmail.com
