Firefox 45.0.1 uses 1.7 GB after closing all tabs except about:memory and using GC, CC, and Minimize Memory Usage
I have a page that uses a custom Flash app to play video. When I leave this page running overnight, memory usage increases to 1.7 GB. I open about:memory and close all other pages, and memory usage does not decrease. I use the three "Free Memory" options on about:memory (GC, CC, and Minimize memory usage) and memory usage does not decrease significantly. The majority of memory used as reported by about:memory is in Other Measurements -> address-space -> commit -> private. I am attaching a screenshot of about:memory and about:addons.
