"Paste" is inhibited (was: "Effectiveness of User agent (useragent)")
Hello, despite numerous attempts after reading the suggestions provided in the above thread, I could not solve my problem at once, so I am trying to address at least just one main issue.
Some web sites, in certain parts of their pages, do inhibit the "paste" function, so that text can't be pasted in the appropriate field but must be typed in manually. I wish to highlight "in certain parts of the page", because in the same page, some text fields allow "paste", while in others it's inhibited. In another answer, I read someone suggesting to be sure that, in about:config, the value for dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled is set to TRUE, but in my case it is already set to TRUE, so no other option possible about that line.
Any suggestion?...

The RightToClick add-on will let you right click and paste in these situations: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/righttoclick/
Thank you very much indeed!
If you have changed the user agent then make sure to reset the general.appname.override pref.
See:
Your System Details list shows Firefox 18:
- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0
Sorry, I think I was a bit too much relieved for the solution and... I didn't test it before writing... er... I installed RightToClick but "paste" still doesn't work...
Note that you would have to set dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled to false to prevent JavaScript from interfering with the paste.

Ok, I did as you said, but something strange is now occurring: "paste" works, but as I hit "Enter", the pasted text disappears, and only the typed-in part of the text is actually sent... :o( disappointing.....
Oh, and there is another strange thing... with the even older Firefox 12, RightToClick works perfectly o_O even if it doesn't have the dom.event.clipboardevents line...
