This recent update in how PDFs are handled is really poor. The responses to the effects of the update seem really arrogant.
No, your PDF viewer is not better than Adobe reader. Even if it was, I want the choice to download directly to my preferred app, even if you think it sucks. I thought Mozilla was all about choice? That's why I thought I donated monthly. I want control over the software I use. It's been a pattern with Mozilla, for example, removing about:config for people who don't want dev builds.
Just like desktop Firefox, I want to choose how to handle files and choose how my software works:

It's seems odd that I'm even explaining this. Please revert this change, it's bad for so many reasons. Please also consider why the culture at Mozilla is giving users less control, not more.

Both my phone's settings and the Google Play Store state that I am up to date (version 111.1.1), but even the autofill for this support ticker guessed that I was on version 110, so I'm wondering if the app didn't actually update, somehow

The article says that the best way to update Firefox is to do it from Play store. It says to tap on the my apps link to see which apps need to be updated but there is no my apps Link in Play store.
How do I determine if I'm using the latest version of Firefox on android?
I am getting a "version not supported" message, yet Firefox shows that it was updated March 4 2023 - is this message something I can ignore?
