More and more often, websites that are safe, are being blocked. For instance when I order online from Subway.com and get to the payment page, Firefox blocks it. Today, I tried to go to the KellyBlueBook page at www.kbb.com and was blocked -- even though I've accessed both of those pages and sites in the recent weeks without trouble. My Edge browser has no such issues. I've uploaded a screen shot.

I'm about to just switch browsers all together. I've looked all the other postings and none of those fixes works at all. It's random and annoying. Windows 11

Currently the fonts at the top of the page (tab headers, address bar, search bar, booksmarks) are all set to a larger font. I don't know how they got changed but they are too big now. If I try change font size and style in settings nothing happens. It is not how it looked on first install and using another browser has font sizes of a more practical size. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Firebox and also doing a refresh and it doesn't change anything.

Its almost like a bug that has made Firefox set these fonts larger than they should and not able to modifying them again.

I cannot for the life of me work out how to fix this and its very off putting to the point, short of a full OS reinstall I'll have to start using another browser.

I am trying to move Firefox to my wife's new computer. I have pulled the HD out of the old computer and have linked it to the computer I'm typing on via a USB port. On it, I can navigate to the Profiles directory but when I attempt to copy it to my HD on this computer, I get this error:

    0X80004005: Unspecified error

I've reviewed pages by searching on the error code but nothing comes up that is relevant. I've cleared permissions on the Profiles directory and all its files ... to no avail.

I'm stumped. Any suggestions?

hi to all team when i do a research in the link bar or even on google site bar it brings me back to the bing site ive got sometimes to try it 3 times befor it gives me the google result insted of shitty bing. Can you help me with this one

This seems to have happened a few days ago.

All of the 20 or so Desktop icons I created dragging the URL from Firefox to the desktop have no turned to the DEFAULT blank page icon.

What I have tried before:

• Ran Firefox in Safe Mode
• Deleted the ICON CACHE and rebooted so it would rebuild
• Refreshed Firefox
• Clicked on the blank icon, and dragged the URL again to the desktop. I can SEE the 'shadow' copy as having the URL image/icon in it. Get the message to REPLACE it which I do, no change, still blank.
• Clicked on the icon and then DELETED it and dragged the URL to the desktop, same thing, see and icon image in the drag, but once I release it, get the same blank page icon.
• Uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it, no change, same problem

One 'oddity', and 3 of the ones I did try I did get the URL Icon on the desktop? Do not know why only those 3 which I deleted to icon before dragging. On one, I did not delete the icon but replaced the desktop one?

One last tidbit, I had a screen lockup the day before, and booting from the Lockup (required a power off and then on) this was not when it happened, it happened some time later, maybe even 2 days later?

Sounds like a corrupt file somewhere, just don't know where? SFC and DISM were run and no problems found. Ran 2 A/V and a Malware scan, nothing found?

Any suggestion?

Hi I am using the Action1 service to connect to a remote PC. Action1 uses a browser to connect to a remote PC. Everything is working but when try to use copy/paste it is not working. On Chrome when trying to make copy/paste to remote PC, Chrome asks do I allow to copy/paste. Is it possible to enable that action on Firefox? Thank you

This is a strange bug. I have a Dell Latitude 5490 i5 (8GB Ram). I recently installed Windows 11. Firefox freezes when I create a mobile hotspot to share the internet with my mobile devices. Then I'll have to disable the hotspot even to restart firefox! otherwise, with the mobile hotspot open, firefox doesn't re-start.

Edge works fine, never tested chrome. No other app freezes.

Any suggestion?

P.S I have the latest Firefox 101.0.1 (64-bit)

I am constantly getting 'Redirect Notice' when I click on a google image. " The previous page is sending you to...http;//" " If you do not want to visit that page, you can return to the previous page " Ive tried the about:config fix and it DOES NOT WORK !

Firefox on Windows 11 now runs at 100% and a stack of ram. Obviously this slows down my PC and this is only on the home page with nothing to look at. This makes it unuseable. Tried help pages - no use at all. Why am I asking an unknown instead of Mozilla? To big for their boots?

This bug occurs very randomly, but it seems there have few things in common.

- Occurring on domain level, one domain at once. For example, if Youtube.com stuck, any sub address including each video page is not loaded. Other website and whole browser works fine. - Other program on same PC is not affected, too. - Which page is stop loading is completely random. It might be happen only on a popular, feature-rich site like amazon, google, but not sure. - The timing is also random. Maybe after waking PC up from sleep, but not sure. Frequency of occurrence is once every 1~5 days. - The workaround without restarting browser is 1.)switching to other container tabs(strangely), 2.)opening website on private window. Disabling all the addon manually didn't help.

Since it's randomness, I didn't have any logs about this issue.

With the recent release of Firefox, I have an issue with the printing dialog box in Firefox. It was working at least in Firefox 93, but now in Firefox 101, my printers name are truncated and I cannot choose the right one. Is there a way to fix that in Firefox ?

I know I could use the SYSTEM DIALOG BOX as an alternative, but I would like a fix to make the FIREFOX Print dialog box automatically adjust to the printers name lenght like it was in Firefox 93.

Firefox 101.0.1 + extensions, Windows 11 22H2; both fully updated

Firefox has stopped saving the position of its window, looking to me like it is leaving space for my Windows taskbar but which is hidden.

Some online searching and I found that setting privacy.resistFingerprinting to false resolves the issue, but it is not a change I feel comfortable with and wonder if there is another solution. I have uBlock Origin installed so maybe I shouldn't be concerned.

Login to an account works fine on Chrome but does not work on Firefox Win 10. When using Firefox the target login page is displayed but I have to either type in User ID and Password or copy and paste from a password library - the password library loads the values but the site won't accept them as valid. Once I have managed to get the User ID and Password accepted the target site will not accept them so I get a message to that effect - either 404 or session has expired, etc. Using Chrome typing the entries or copy and pasting the URL for the password manager displays the passwords and logs me in. All I can think of is that there is some encryption or license problem with the Firefox login process.

My HP Omen has 2 hard drives. Originally, Firefox was installed on the C: drive and working perfectly. In order to clear up space, I tried to use the Windows Move feature to move the program from the C: drive to the secondary (and larger) E: drive. Since then, Firefox won't work aside from opening a Firefox window. It will load no pages, settings, etc.

I've tried uninstalling Firefox from both the C: and E: drives. Searched for any remaining files and deleted them. Deleted Old Firefox Data folders. I've reinstalled Firefox, without the option of where to install it, but it still fails to work at all. I get an error message regarding a missing file, VCRUNTIME140_1.dll. I've searched for the file and it's NOT missing. It is in both the Firefox folder and the Windows/Systems32 folder.

I've searched for data in the Users folders that might relate to Firefox but NOTHING seems to work that will allow Firefox to work again. I've tried putting Firefox in Troubleshooting Mode but it won't restart as it says it needs to. It just won't work!

If anyone can just tell me how to COMPLETELY remove Firefox from both hard drives so that I can just do a clean, new Firefox install, that would be preferable. I know how to import bookmarks from Chrome.

If anyone can offer some help for someone who isn't great with computers, I would greatly appreciate it. If you need any other information, please don't hesitate to ask.
