I have Firefox set up to basically clear itself of all history, cookies, data, etc. each time it closes. As a result this means I need to log into my password manager each time I open a new Firefox session, rather than every 72 hours which is the setting I have put in the password manager itself. I know how to make exceptions for websites, but it's making an exception for an extension that is confusing me. Any help is appreciated!

Please email or call me to fix. My old, initial, primary email is no longer accessible to I cannot cite the "code" that Mozilla wants me to cite... when I am trying to input a secondary email. So do I need to cancel my account and re-register, or can a staff member fix this for me (please)? [edited] @outlook.com (new, and only, email)

Im using Firefox desktop version 113 with win 7 Browser will not save logins or passwords either saved by me manually or by importing from chrome.

Below you will see the screen from my settings after saving. Strangely, I do get the prompt to save them. See other image below.

I do not want to use sync. I only want firefox to store this locally as the earlier versions did without any issues.

What's disturbing is how many websites you have blocked my access to? We may never know. USAA is one of the most important websites I use. Hell, I've been a member since 1985. But you don't allow me access. I have to use a Microsoft program like Chrome (I also hate) or Edge is what my Dell laptop came with, so you force me to use that when you don't allow me to use USAA.

I'm about ready to switch permanently to Edge. All I need is 1 browser, not headaches. You're not reliable.

My name is Alex. I'm currently using Doxy.me for telehealth purposes. The past couple of appointments I've had have had issues with microphone access. Whenever I connect to the site, I get prompted to request microphone access from Firefox, but when I press the button the browser doesn't give the permission prompt. I've tried refreshing the site/browser, checking permissions on the address bar and in privacy & security settings, but there's nothing there, and I can't manually give permission to the site.

The only change I've had is that I've recently built a new PC with Windows 11, I'm not sure if there's a compatibility issue and I can't find anything about it. I've considered using another browser but I don't like the alternatives and would really like to just use my default. Any tips?

How do I remove the policy that controls this: "Your browser is being managed by your organization."

I do not have a "Mozlla" in the policies location. All information I see for removing the statement below shows that the word Mozlla is what you remove with Regedit. The information "Your Browser is being managed by your organization."

All I have under Policies is: Adobe, Dell, Google, HP, Microsoft

I get a "Potential Security Risk" warning when trying to access a Spanish government website in order to download a digital signature (which is required for all interaction with government agencies, etc.) From what I've read, Firefox is blocking this site and there is no way to override this. Is that true? If this is the case, (although I have used Firefox forever) would it be advisable to switch to Chrome or some other browser? It is essential to be able to access this site. Firefox issues warning while accessing websites which are signed by Internal CAs. However, we could see the same website working fine with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, etc.

Firefox work fine while accessing websites which are signed by Public CAs. The issue is only with websites signed with internal / Private CAs.

What can you do about it?

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it.

I been using Fire Fox for a long time. I upgraded to two step authentication with the ten code numbers. But every time Fire Fox System keeps asking me for an authentication code to pair iPhone to desktop. I tried all the apps but I don't how to obtain the code from those app.

Can you please explain/guide me how to find this code or the app I need to use.

When I go to youtube.com in firefox it redirects me to https://secure.winred.com/save-america-joint-fundraising-committee/google031723/?utm_medium=ad&utm_source=ci_d_google&utm_content=kw002_na&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIx7rq04KK_wIV4-jjBx34MgztEAAYASAAEgKXMfD_BwE&exitintent=true. This only happens in firefox, not chrome or edge. How can I prevent this from happening?

Firefox keeps asking me for my primary password EVERY time I open the browser. It's very annoying. This article did not help me. I don't use the anti-virus softwares mentioned in the article, and I removed my primary password and set it up again and I still get the pop up every time I open Firefox.

Does anybody know what causes this?

I have passwords stored in Dashlane. 1. Would i be anymore secure if i followed your prompts and disabled Dashlane in order to use Firefox relay; 2. If i disabled Dahlane to use Relay would i loose all the passwords saved in Dashlane?

I would like to monitor what websites, who he gets and sends email to and so on. He does know to delete his history right after he's done using my company. Can I still get this information even thou he has deleted it from his history? If so, how?

Today Firefox stopped altogether and dimmed the entire window and popped up a "Try the Firefox VPN" message. I use Firefox specifically to get away from disruptive, intrusive violations like that. This needs to be removed immediately and never ever happen again. It's completely antithetical to the core values of Firefox.
