When I would click on a link from google search, it would automatically open in a new tab. How can I change the setting to that again?

If I were to look up lyrics to a song on google, many different links show up. I used to be able to click on the link and it would automatically open in a new tab. It no longer does this. How can I change the settings so that the links open in a new tab again?

login to google account, search for something in goggle, at the right top you will find search settings in which you have to mark 'Open each selected result in a new browser window.'
