What is the best way to convert users to ESR?

We're looking to convert our install base of various consumer versions to ESR (for windows machines only currently) An SCCM report shows Firefox having various installation paths on our devices C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Mozilla Firefox\ C:\Documents and Settings\%USERID%\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla Firefox\ C:\Users\%USERID%\AppData\Local\Mozilla Firefox\ C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox %VERSION_Number%\ C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\ C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\ To name a few

We’d like our ESR install script (delivered thru SCCM) to do a few things, - install ESR - copy any current FF favorites/user settings/etc to the ESR version - have a post-installation item to remove all instances/shortcuts/etc of FF that do not equal ESR 10 - limit required user interaction for install/cleanup

Wondering if anyone’s gone thru something like this, or has any comments on this approach and maybe some script ideas or pitfalls to watch out for?

Thanks!
