I can't access gmail in Firefox but I can using IE. I've tried all the recommendations and nothing has worked.

I just downloaded Firefox 6.0.1. and when I try to get to gmail I get a message that reads: "we've detected a problem with your cookie settings", and I can't get to the login page. Gmail gives three recommendations to fix the problem, but none have worked (they are enable cookies; clear cache and cookies; and adjust privacy settings in firefox). I can get to my gmail accounts using IE.
