Firefox has been scanning a download for two days, it's causing it to run really slow and I can't cancel it or any other downloads.

I tried to download a couple of songs off, http://landofbrokenhearts.org Land of Broken Hearts. A few downloaded fine, then I ran out of space in the folder I wanted. So I cleared up some space and restarted the downloads. It started to scan a file and stopped downloading all the others. It's been scanning it for two days now and Firefox is running really slow. I've tried canceling or pausing all the downloads, but it won't. What do I do?
