I have to use another browser to see how the pages look to my potential customers; don't know if customers using Firefox see my listing pages the same as I do, but one time I did get a flash of a message regarding "Firefox html not able to ...." didn't get the rest of the message... My listings do look okay on Chrome and Edge... Anyone want to check my listings on ebay to let me know if they are compressed on the left side of the screen using Firefox would certainly make me rest a little easier! Just go to ebay and look for seller pandasclaw...thanks.

Hi there,

Yes have tried remvoing all history and cache with no change, including losing this page in the process and having to search to get back here doh.

In messing about over different devices and connections I did manage to find some instances where it doesn't, seems to relate to the width of the browser window as I haven't managed to replicate at all on smaller screens and the issue can be got rid of by setting the width of the browser smaller and refreshing the page. Sometimes the page continues to render at 1920 px or so wide when the browser is reduced to say half the width of the screen and hitting refresh, and the description box (TD element) seems to remain full page width and a scroll bar is shown to slide the 1920 px within the 900px or so wide browser window, and sometimes it seems to make the whole page reflow to fit the smaller size and trigger the squshed behaviour of the description element.

I'm struggling to find what the source of this behaviour is between changing devices and reloading the page with different screen resolutions/window sizes, it does seem to be a bit inconsistent. I usually browse ebay using a quarter of a 4K screen in case that turns out to be a factor but have noticed this on several devices.

Thanks very much for your help.

Kind regards,
Oscar
