How to remove file name from pdf tab title, leaving only document meta title?

I've found some help articles about this, but they haven't actually suggested how to edit it.

When viewing a pdf in Firefox, the title that shows in the tab says something like: "PDF Meta title - PDF-Meta-title.pdf"

I'm trying to remove the file name, the second half above, from that title. I've edited the pdf in Adobe Acrobat, changing the title to "PDF Meta title", but Firefox still shows the file name (eg. " - PDF-Meta-title.pdf" ) after the title I put in.

Chrome does not show this file name after the title, only the title. Safari only shows the file name without the dashes ( - ), like so: PDF Meta title.pdf

Is there a way to prevent this in Firefox?
