Amazon music fails to play when media.autoplay.enabled is set to false

I've toggled the media.autoplay.enabled value to false and this has caused the play button on Amazon Music not to function, music.amazon.com. The Next button continues to work.

I've toggled media.autoplay.enabled back to true and the site works as expected. I have started in safe mode and I am still unable to play music

Pandora still has this problem (question 1173600) radioparadise.com does not

I see a javascript workaround from question 1173600 which still works on pandora, but I am unable to figure out if that type of workaround is available on the amazon music site.

I have submitted this to amazon.
