Hello, My old computer is broken and I cannot use it anymore. Anyway, the hard drive is available and I can download files from it. I had Mozilla on my old laptop and sync was on. When I installed the mozilla on my new laptop and synced mozilla everything was okay but the bookmarks didn't appear. Very weird.

Do you have any idea how I can recover them, that's very important for me. Is there something in the cloud or not? Or if I can import files where can I find them on my old hard drive? Where and which is the folder? Names of the files?

Hope you can help,

Thanks,

The profile folder is in this location:

  • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

Note that "AppData" (XP: Application Data; Mac: ~/Library; Linux: ~/.mozilla) is a hidden folder.

Thanks, I found the folder, I copied all the files from the old folder bookmarkbackups to the new one but nothing happened. The bookmarks still don´t appear. Should I copy the whole Profile folder or what?
