hello gocheso1, if your manual changes don't 'stick' after a restart of the browser, please look out for any suspicious extensions (like 3rd-party-toolbars or things you have not installed intentionally) presently installed under the firefox menu ≡ > addons > extensions. Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page

in case this doesn't solve the issue please try to refresh firefox: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

then it very quickly flicks to another link starting with-

then flicks very quickly to -

which shows a survey regarding Telstra

This is very annoying. I just want Firefox to open with Google and nothing else

I have tried changing the browser box to then I drag the lock image to Home. I then get asked - Do you want this document to be your new Homepage? I click on Yes. It only stays set temporarily. After I quit Firefox and open Firefox again Google doesn't show anymore. The annoying links show up again.
