inbox messages disappeared, though they are still recognized by the search function and visible in the profile inbox file

after a computer crash the messages in my inbox disappeared (those visible there now where downloaded after the crash). the disappeared ones are still recognized by the search function and are still in the profile inbox folder. I can't open or rebuild them from neither.

how do I get this messages back into my inbox in order to read them and work with them?
