I am using Firefox nightly on Android. About two weeks ago I noticed that my toolbar got moved to the bottom after some update, while address bar is still at the top. I tried looking for it in settings but couldn't find anything about toolbar, that's weird since I was able to customize it a few years ago when I installed Firefox for the first time. So I looked it up on the internet and they say that it's in Settings/Customize/Toolbar, but in my browser settings instead of Toolbar there is Address bar settings. Has toolbar's settings been moved somewhere else? It looks like in previous versions it was under Customize section.

Hi, I want to disable the "Thought-provoking stories" shortcuts from the home / new tab page on Android.

Following the other forum posts and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/hide-pocket-recommendations-firefox there should be a switch for "Thought-provoking stories" under Settings - Homepage - Shortcuts, but I don't see it. What can I do? Thank you for your help.

I have lost the ability to customize the browser and the audio is gone. Audio works with EDGE, AND CHROME still. This is a Firefox issue. I woke up and it had changed, I made no changes to anything from yesterday when I had everything working fine.

Hi! I recently migrated from Chrome to Firefox and everything is OK except for homepage shortcut icons. They load when I open the sites again but dissappear again after a day or two. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks a lot

1. The homepage backgrounds need updating, I should be able to add manual wallpaper from my phone. 2. The bookmarks on homepage are in a sliding manner which requires one extra step to open prefered bookmark from home page specially when I have several bookmarks. They should be more accessible as in the form of already expanded tiles rather than just a show all button. 3. The bookmarks if removed from homepage once, can't be placed there again even though they appear inside the bookmark tab. There should be an option to add bookmarks to homepage. 4. Please bring amoled theme for firefox.

I have a Galaxy Z Fold 6. I added 16 shortcuts to the home page and tried to add a 17th. It gave me an error and now when I swipe to the 2nd page of shortcuts, each row is squished and left aligned (see pic). If I delete the last (16th) shortcuts, it goes back to normal. I would like to assign all 16 and not have the 2nd page be squished. Thank you!

The more I tried to fix/delete the initial intro image issue it create even more problems - can't launch my original home page mow or have access to basic apps ??

1. Sometimes I use the browser while the system is in dark mode.
2. Then I switch system to light mode. FF recognizes it and switches to light mode accordingly.
3. Then I use it in light mode for a little more.
4. Then some time passes (maybe a few hours), I don't use FF during that time.
5. Then, I tap on FF icon, the browser starts, but immediately switches back to dark mode, while the system is still in light mode.
6. I have to close FF by swiping on it in task switcher, and then tap on the app again.
7. FF now uses light/dark theme according to system.

Device: Motorola Edge 30 Neo with stock Android 14.

Hello! After updating Firefox Nightly on Android, I found out that it separated toolbar and an address bar, and it's impossible to move toolbar back to the address bar. So now it's at the bottom of the screen regardless of preferences. I looked into the options and haven't found any way to put the toolbar back on the top of the screen. I can only move the address bar around. So now it's all very inconvenient. Maybe I am missing something?

Is there any way to remove the address bar icons (reading mode, translate, share) ??

Even without showing the "https" and/or the "www' the address is very small and these icons making it worse.

(Firefox Nightly) The tabs and menu buttons seem to have been relocated to a fixed pane on the bottom of the browser window. I can't tell if this was part of an update or some accidental swipe. My attempts to fix this:

Longpressing these ui elements doesn't show any contextual options.

Settings seems to only allow relocation of the url bar top/bottom.

Nothing in the configuration editor (json or xml or whatever seems to cover this, but I am not particularly fluent in browser widgetspeak.

Suffice it to say, tapping tabs and menu (for extensions) is a high frequency activity so having these irreversibly(?) relocated is frustrating.

As of today in Firefox Nightly for Android the buttons noted in the subject line above have now taken up a section of my screen instead of being tucked away in a menu, which is my preference. I cannot figure out how to put it back as I have no need for these to be persistent in any way. Please instruct me on how to reassert the previous settings.

Greetings FF Community, New Samsung Galaxy S9 Ultra tablet running FF ver 127.02 on Android 14. Have no option to customize toolbar or even add the File Menu to the top of Firefox as other resources in Firefox indicate. Using a Finite bluetooth keyboard, ALT key does nothing, using bluetooth mouse right click on empty space in address bar - no context menu appears, enabled in mouse settings. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Screen shots below of laptop and S9 Ultra. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I have a Samsung A14.....using an Android 14 operating system. I have Dark mode on at all times on my phone, however when I go online to any sites, it defaults to white screen. I have tried the settings on the phone and in the Firefox settings but it still shows up in white screen. On my old phone, I can get all websites in dark mode so I know it is possible, can anyone help me?? Thanks
