Firefox close-button does not work

If I try to close Firefox with the red close button (top right corner), Firefox does not respond. If I try to close my browser by clicking on Firefox (in the top left corner) > Close (next to the red close button icon), it doesn't respond either. The only way I can close my browser is by right-clicking on the icon in the Windows Taskbar and selecting Close. How can I solve this problem?

If I try to close Firefox with the red close button (top right corner), Firefox does not respond.
