I have some bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar (I do have the Smart Bookmarks Bar installed). When i start firefox, all the favicons show up as white plain icons. When I click on each favicon and the page loads, the favicons take the actual icon of the bookmark. Now I can conveniently click on each of my favorite bookmark in no time and am a happy camper! When I restart firefox or close this particular browsing session, and restart the browser, the favicons show up again as blank. Its unbelievably frustrating and I have spent 4-6 hrs searching for a solution, but nothing seems to work (Favicon picker or dragging the favicon of the website to the bookmarks toolbar or setting the properties of the icon such that I browse and locate an .ico file...) After I restart, the favicons are lost! A fix to this problem as to what I am missing would be truly appreciated! Thanks in advance.. ((I have FF3.6.13 on Vista and the favicons work fine!)
