zoom link never works

after i click the link for a zoom meeting, a flash of a question to open the window goes by at lightening speed and is gone. is this related to popups? i have already allowed zoom and that doesn't solve it.

Could you clarify which device this relates to, how and where from you open the link, and what happens after it's "gone"? Could you attach any screen shots here to illustrate? Thanks.

(Were you able to join that Zoom meeting from a browser before? Some meetings have access restrictions that can only be satisfied from their native desktop app — so that's what the page might be doing: trying to log you in to Zoom desktop app if the meeting can't be joined via browsers.)
