How can I disable copying the last word on text selecting in HTML input elements

I often want to copy some text from somewhere else (image-1), and paste into some website's input field (e.g. google.com's search input) to replace some text already in there. But every time when I select all the text in the input field, and hit ctrl-v to paste (image-2), it just pastes the last word of my second selection (image-3).

Is this a bug of firefox? I've tried to disable all of my addons, and the problem remains.
