My sister have a facebook page with shop that I help her manage, but for some reason lately we can't access the "shop" tab of the page with firefox. We are getting The page isn’t redirecting properly error. I cleaned cookies and cache, even tried a new private window, nothing. I tried opening in edge and everything worked like no problem. The page is the following. https://www.facebook.com/hadrastico/shop We experienced problems both in my workstation and my sister's laptop that also use firefox (latest version, windows 10 up to date). Any idea? Should I fill a bug or something?

Everytime I open sites like https://developers.google.com/maps and http://ruby-forum.com, and some other sites that I can't recall now, I get "Corrupted Content Error". The send.firefox.com even fails to load. I have to press "ctrl + shift + r" to reload the site, but when I am redirected to the sites (say after login), I can't press ctrl + shift + r. Removing cache and cookies didn't help. Chromium loads the sites just fine.
I'm thinking thinking this is probably a lost cause, but here goes... Is there any way to stop FF Sync from asking my Password (master password) at every boot. I'm usually in the middle of something when 'pop', the dialog box decides to open, and I have to stop and sign in with my MP to continue. Can't sync leave a cookie or something and remember who I am from one session to the next? I am the sole user of the machine.
I use yahoo for my search and second mail. In the last two days when I close firefox to play a game or anything else and reopen I'm logged of my yahoo account? Ive cleaned my History, cookies and what ever else I could think of..Nothing it still does it. I have to constantly log back in so I can see news and other stuff related to what I like. I haven't changed any setting or added anything.
Starting today When I attempted to login to My Discover Card Web Site, I get the message "Your account cannot currently be accessed. With something about outdated Browsers. I have checked, and my Firefox Browser is up to date and I cleared cookies and data, but no success. I called Discover and that are not aware of any connections problems with Firefox browser. I was able to access the web site using Microsoft Edge.
Hello, we previously use firefox ESR version 68.0.1 to view outlook messages via OWA, there was no problem reading the messages, when you double click on it the message was displayed on another tab, Since my update to version 78.0.1 ESR, we can no longer develop the messages on OWA which displays a blank page. We have already tried to empty the browser cache, or even by adding an exception for cookies from "outlook.office.com" Can you help us ? thank you in advance cordially
On the entertainment media site Buzzfeed, clicking on a post of an embedded Twitter video gives me a blank white image. No error message like "Unable to play the file". I did a clear history, cache & cookies and refreshed Firefox. I ran the apt update for Ubunto. It had been operating smoothly in the past. If I go to Twitter, it plays. It just goes blank when I click on the video embedded in the post. Thank you for any assistance.
privacy.sanitize.sanitizeOnShutdown and network.cookie.lifetimePolicy is not working as they should. Why?
(I don't know why but my reply won't show up. So I'm posting the same thing here.) So I made more research and made my question simpler. FYI I reseted my firefox and since then I've changed settings only via about:preferences and user.js. Situation A: (1) Set these preferences. * permissions.default.geo =2 * network.cookie.lifetimePolicy =0 * privacy.sanitize.sanitizeOnShutdown =true (2) Go to https://www.jma.go.jp/jp/highresorad/index.html * You'll see a pop-up message that says "位置情報を取得できませんでした。". (3) Check the box down below (今後このメッセージを表示しない。), and close that message. Then press f5. * You'll see that the pop-up message won't show up anymore. (4) Open a new tab. Then close the previous tab. Revisit the site. * You'll see that the pop-up message doesn't show up. (5) Close all Firefox windows. Then open Firefox and visit the site. * Expected: The cookies should have deleted. The pop-up message will show up. * Actual Result: The pop-up message doesn't show up. (6) Do Ctrl-Shift-Delete. Then press F5. * You'll see the pop-up message shows up this time. Situation B: (1) Set these preferences. * permissions.default.geo =2 * network.cookie.lifetimePolicy =2 * privacy.sanitize.sanitizeOnShutdown =true (2) Go to https://www.jma.go.jp/jp/highresorad/index.html * You'll see a pop-up message that says "位置情報を取得できませんでした。". (3) Check the box down below (今後このメッセージを表示しない。), and close that message. Then press f5. * You'll see that the pop-up message won't show up anymore. (4) Open a new tab. Then close the previous tab. Revisit the site. * Expected: You'll see that the pop-up message doesn't show up. * Actual Result: You'll see that the pop-up message does show up. (5) Close all Firefox windows. Then open Firefox and visit the site. * You'll see that the pop-up message shows up. (6) Do Ctrl-Shift-Delete. Then press F5. * You'll see the pop-up message shows up this time. (Original post below.) Hello. (Sorry about messy English.) (1) I set preferences as below. network.cookie.lifetimePolicy =0 (accept cookies normally) privacy.clearOnShutdown.* =true (define what data is cleared when Firefox is closed) privacy.sanitize.sanitizeOnShutdown =true (make Firefox clear the data when it's closed) These settings should make Firefox clear all my cookies when closed. But Firefox kept some of it. Firefox cleared the login state, but some site data such as volume control on Nicovideo's video player were kept. That means when you login to the site and watch a video at 17% volume, then close Firefox without clicking the logout link, reopen the same page, you'll see yourself logged out, but when you login to the site, you'll see the volume is set to 17% on the video player, not default 100%. (2) Now I changed one setting. network.cookie.lifetimePolicy =2 (cookies are now for current session only) This didn't work as intended either. Firefox sure cleared all the cookies, but it did in a weird way. The login states were working as intended. But some site data are not sheared between tabs. That means when you watch a video at 27% volume and close the tab, then revisit the same page, you'll see the volume on the video player is now set to the default 100%. (3) And finally I found the one caused this. dom.ipc.processCount =1 (Firefox must run on a single process) network.cookie.lifetimePolicy =2 (same) privacy.sanitize.sanitizeOnShutdown =true (same) I honestly don't understand why this works, but this way everything seems to be working properly. All cookies are sheared between tabs and they are cleared when Firefox is closed. My question is: (a) Why did this happen? Especially the situation (1) makes no sense to me. Why Firefox left some cookies when I told it to clear the cookies on shutdown? (b) Is there any way to share data between processes? I don't want my Firefox to be single-processed slow browser. Thanks.
On certain websites that have a username and password space to fill in, I get a little drop down box that suggests my email and a couple other words i input as a username on other websites, for example I must have input my password by accident in the username space, so now it suggests my password as a username. This happens on some websites I've never even visited before and never typed anything in or tried to log into. I opened the 'Logins and passwords' menu, and there is information saved for only 2 websites, yet when I visit other websites, I'm automatically suggested possible usernames that don't seem to be saved anywhere. I've cleared cookies and cache and its still there. How can I remove these?
if I click on a link on any eBay page, it just stays on the same page (although sometimes acting as if it's starting to load, then stops). But if I click reload, it shows the page I was trying to get to. In case that explanation was too incoherent: Say I'm on an eBay page selling typewriters. At the bottom there's a link where someone's selling typewriter ribbons. I click on that, nothing. I'm still on the typewriter page. I click reload, and the typewriter ribbon page appears. Most of the time. Sometimes I just get a blank page. It's been going on about ten days, I think. This happens only at eBay. I have Windows 7 and the latest Firefox, 55.0.3 (32-bit). And I have disabled ad blockers on eBay because I thought they were the problem. Also, I cleaned out all my cookies and cache and it still does it. Thank you.
