Steps to reproduce: Open https://banco.santander.cl and log in. Go to the transfer section and choose to add a new recipient. Click into the "Nombre o alias" field. The “Paste” floating tooltip appears immediately, even though no right-click or paste action has been triggered.

Actual result: A tooltip with only the option “Paste” appears automatically. No other context menu options are visible—just “Paste.” While the tooltip is open, it blocks all keyboard input into the field. To close the tooltip, I must either click on it multiple times with the left mouse button, or press Esc. Once it’s closed, I can enter a few characters, but then the tooltip reappears and blocks input again, repeating the cycle.

Additional notes: The issue occurs in Firefox 138.0.1 (64-bit) and has also occurred in earlier versions. It does not happen in Chrome, Edge, or on the mobile app. It persists even when:

 Using Firefox Safe Mode
 Testing with a fresh Firefox profile
 It has been observed on two separate PCs, one running Windows 10 and another running Windows 11

This behavior makes it nearly impossible to input a recipient’s name using Firefox on this site.

Any sugestions on how to solve it or shoud i report it like a bug?

Why all inputs type number in all pages show the arrows, i see that in others pc with Firefox dont show them if you dont click there, but in my pc is always on. And if someone know how to make it with background transparent I would appreciate it very much.

Ayer día 5 de mayo, hubo una actualización del sistema operativo windows11, creo que también se actualizó el navegador mozilla, cuando apague el equipo disponia de 6 ventanas del navegador con todas las pestañas de búsqueda y acciones que estaba realizando pero al iniciar mozilla todo desapareció, todo mi trabajo de tiempo (desastre total), quisiera consultarles si podría recuperar y de que forma podría hacerlo, tengo el historial pero sin las ventanas ni nada, un ardúo trabajo. Por primera vez me está pasando lo siguiente: De repente Firefox se bloquea y todas las pestañas se reducen a una sola y el contenido de la pestaña se reduce a muy pequeño y se coloca en la esquina de arriba izquierda (como en la imagen anexa) Intento matar al proceso desde el task manager de windows pero me es imposible. Intento hacerlo con otras herramientas pero tampoco me deja. Si intento lanzar otra instancia de FF tampoco me deja porque se da cuenta de que sigua habiendo activa una instancia y que tendría que desactivarla antes de que la nueva instancia pueda arrancar.

Tengo un laptop i7 con 8Gb ram, windows 10, firefox 138 ¿Qué puedo hacer?

El menú de Firefox tiene letras muy pequeñas y el interlineado muy grande. ¿Cómo puedo solucionarlo? La opción de modificar el tamaño de letra en Ajustes modifica cómo se ven las páginas web, pero no la apariencia del Menú de Firefox.

I'm having an issue with Firefox where a console warning appears: "This error message will be blank when privacy.resistFingerprinting = true. If it is really necessary, please add it to the whitelist in MediaError::GetMessage:" while streaming audio on my site (https://osirisfm.org, streaming from https://d3jkr2fyv4ub9q.cloudfront.net/stream). The warning persists even though I've set privacy.resistFingerprinting to false in about:config.

Here’s what I’ve tried: - Set privacy.resistFingerprinting to false, cleared cache, and restarted Firefox, but the warning still shows. - The warning incorrectly indicates privacy.resistFingerprinting = true, despite my setting being false. - Tested with privacy.resistFingerprinting = true and added exemptions for osirisfm.org and d3jkr2fyv4ub9q.cloudfront.net in privacy.resistFingerprinting.exemptedDomains, but it didn’t help. - Ran Firefox in Safe Mode (no add-ons), and the warning still appears. - This doesn’t affect audio playback but prevents seeing the full MediaError.message (e.g., object { code: 1, message: "" }), which makes debugging stream issues difficult.

Is this a known privacy/security setting issue? How can I stop this warning or see the full error message with privacy.resistFingerprinting set to false? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Mi computadora se reinició completamente y se borraron todos mis datos locales. Tenía activada la sincronización en mi cuenta de Firefox, pero no sabía que iba a ocurrir este reinicio, por lo que no hice ninguna copia de seguridad.

Al intentar acceder nuevamente, no recordaba mi contraseña y la restablecí. Después de hacerlo, Firefox sincronizó sólo los datos nuevos (vacíos) y no los anteriores, que eran muy importantes para mí (contraseñas, marcadores, historial y especialmente cuentas de Google guardadas).

Sé que los datos están cifrados y que cambiar la contraseña puede causar la pérdida de datos, pero quería preguntar si existe alguna posibilidad —aunque sea parcial— de recuperar la sincronización anterior.

Gracias por su tiempo y cualquier ayuda que puedan brindarme

Hola, mi nombre es Raúl Tengo problemas para navegar con Mozilla Firefox (Que es el navegador que uso más) Muchas veces cuando navego por internet tengo que pulsar F5 varias veces para que me abra un página si no me dá error o se queda pensando y no quiere cargar Otras veces abre bien! He probado con otros navegadores distintos de otras compañías a esta y no me sucede Ya hace tiempo que me sucede

I cannot use firefox any more as it takes an eternity to paint a full page. It seems the problem is when there are images, as if they could not be found.

With Chrome I don't have this issue.

Anywhere to look? This did not happen with Windows 10, it started when I updated to 11, although I don't know if it is related.

I am just a user with no deep technical knowledge.

Please help ! I´m using Firefox Portable 137.0.2 from Portable App O.S. Widows 10 Home S.L. Spanish My Firefox updates automatically, and cannot change that in Tools. See "Auto Update" I have not idea of which "instance" is updating my Firefox.

When I try to change shows: "Error Update" But that Path and File do not exist. There is a folder in C:\ProgramData\Mozilla-1de4eec8-1241-4177-a864-e594e8d1fb38

And other folders in:

C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Mozilla
C:\Users\...\AppData\Roamingl\Mozilla

He instalado el DNIe en mi ordenador con sistema macOS Sequoia 15.4.1 Al intentar utilizar el DNIe me pide el PIN con un mensaje que dice que Firefox está intentando firmar. Introduzco el PIN del DNIe que son 12 caracteres y el recuadro de Firefox no me deja pinchar en Aceptar, que se queda gris; sólo si meto un PIN de 5-6 caracteres me deja apretar el botón de Aceptar que se pone en azul. El problema es que el PIN es de 12 caracteres y no de 5 o 6 por lo que no me deja Aceptar y continuar. ¿Cómo puedo solucionar esto y utilizar mi DNIe con Firefox?
