Hey there. I have a question regarding the Mozilla PDF viewer, and it's capability to add sticky notes.

To add sticky notes, I was using Microsoft Edge, since I thought Mozilla didn't have this option. On Edge, you select a patch of text and then you can add text that shows when clicking on that text portion. When not clicking it, the text looks like it's highlighted.

Much to my surprise, when I opened a PDF with Sticky Notes added with Mozilla, they were still there. When putting my cursor on top of the highlighted zones, they were marked as if they were simply highlighted, but when clicking, I was able to open the hidden text inside the note.

This makes me think there's actually a way to add said notes within Mozilla, since it's recognizing the text with the sticky note as a highlighted text, but I can't seem to find a way to do it.

I really hate using Edge, and Mozilla is my way to go for everything. Do you know how can I solve this issue?

Regresé a Firefox luego de muchos meses con la idea de usar un navegador seguro y moderno. Pero me temo que los detalles actuales (versión 136.0.2) son para decepcionar al usuario. En primer lugar NO han manera de eliminar el traductor de Google que abre ventanas cada vez que se mueve el mouse sobre el texto. Es desagradablemente invasivo y molesto. Las consultas en la web para desinstalarlo refieren a opciones que no están disponibles en la configuración. Deberé abandonar Firefox por estos detalles?

Hola, es un fastidio que cuando se descarga un archivo la opción de guardarlo solo la envíe a la carpeta de descargar del SO. Luego es necesario abrir esa carpeta y mover el archivo al directorio que se elije. A pesar de haber seleccionado la casilla de "preguntar siempre dónde guardar los archivos", esta opción no aparece al descargarlos.

Buenas, tengo un problema reciente con la barra lateral de Firefox Nightly. Hasta ahora, la barra me aparecía constantemente activa ya que la tenía configurada para que se quedase anclada a un lado del navegador; sin embargo, desde hace unos días, la barra lateral desaparece cuando cierro alguna ventana anclada a ella (por ejemplo, si en la barra lateral abro WhatsApp, opciones o alguna extensión y luego la cierro, la barra lateral desaparece en lugar de permanecer visible en el navegador).

¿A alguien más le ha pasado? ¿Saben si es algún error de alguna actualización?

As I have Windows 8, I had an old Firefox. On 15th March, add-ons stopped working. I use many of them, so I read that the solution was to update Firefox but in ESR version. I use userChrome.css to change some settings. Before update, I had my context menu items in order. Now I can't. For example, "Open image in new tab" is the first, and "save image" is second. I'm used to the inverted order and now it's difficult for me. Also, I use "desk cut" to create shortcuts a lot. Before, it was the last option, now, it's over "Translate page". If someone could help me with an script for userChrome.css that works, it would be great. Also, I don't know how to find the name of all the CSS selectors. I have some of them written down, but other not, and using develper console with context menu doens't work for me... (probably I'm doing something wrong, as I've managed to leave context menu open but when I try to select, it doesn't work, it's like if I clicked normally and, for example, it opens a picture in new tab.

Hace unos meses, estoy teniendo un problema con el navegador, cuando uso audifonos ya no puedo controlar el volumen desde mi teclado, ni en el icono de la barra de tareas, es como si ahora cada pestaña tuviera su audio independiente, lo cual es muy molesto. Por ejemplo abro youtube coloco un video y solo puedo controlar el volumen desde el mismo reproductor, sucede que el sonido por defecto es muy alto, y la precisión del medidor es bajisima, (gracias a eso estoy cerca de quedarme sordo). Es el único navegador que es así, no entiendo porque tienen que cambiar algo que funciona bien, y arruinar el navegador.

Estimados buenas tardes junto con saludar. Quisiera consultar sobre cómo puedo activar una extensión de VPN en mi navegador. Si bien a veces uso la navegación modo privado, no tengo la certeza absoluta. por lo tanto, me gustaría saber si hay disponible una configuración o extensión con VPN. Tengo un acceso directo a Firefox 128 en la barra de tareas. Si se abren otras instancias, éstas, no se apilan en el icono de Firefox que tengo en la barra de tareas, se apilan aparte, al final de la barra. Todas las demás aplicaciones que tengo lo hacen bien, pero Firefox, no.

¿Alguién sabe como puedo solucionarlo?

I just upgraded to FF 134 and can't hide the keyword row in bookmark panel.

This code works, it hides the tags selector and its button:

1. editBMPanel_tagsSelectorExpander, #editBMPanel_tagsSelectorRow

{

 display:none !important;  

}

This works too, it hides the tags and keyword label descriptions:

1. tags-field-info, #keyword-field-info

{

 display:none !important;  

}

But this doesn't hide the keywordRow nor field:

1. editBMPanel_keywordRow,
2. editBMPanel_keywordField

{

 display:none !important;  

}

Any help is welcome.
