lost access to e-mail account, can't login to firefox accounts
I have lost access to my e-mail account that I registered Firefox Accounts with and now I can't login to my Firefox account despite knowing the correct password because it insists on entering a code sent to the e-mail address I have no longer access to. Is there any way I can login to my Firefox account only with my current password to change my linked e-mail address? Or somehow ask support to change it for me manually? If none of that is possible, I want to, at the very least, deactivate or delete said account because I'm worried about the possibility of abuse.

That is understandable and I have already created another account so I can post here, but I want that lost account to be deleted so the person now possessing my e-mail account won't be able to abuse it.
I already did that but it's not likely they will do anything sadly. I think this kind of abuse is a risk not only for me, so there should be a way to request an account deletion if the access to the registered e-mail is lost.

The challenge that we have is being able to confirm that the email address belongs to the person asking for the account to be erased. The only way we can be sure is if that person has access to that email account.
