Airpods "Automatic Ear Detection" not working with Firefox

Hello. I've used different browsers and, when I'm watching a Youtube video, for example, if I remove one of the Airpods, the video pauses, I have "Automatic Ear Detection" on. The problem is that if I try to do the same with Firefox it does not pause/play automatically. Anyone knows how I could fix/configure this? Thanks!

I'm using MacOS High Sierra and Catalina. Firefox version 79.
