I'm sure more features will be added over time. You can use the following page to indicate the specific additions that are most important to you to help evolve the browser from this starting point:

That said, I think it would be more realistic to expect an interface like Firefox for Android rather than any desktop version of Firefox.

If it doesn't look and feel like the Desktop version of Firefox, there's no reason to use it. If I call a horse a car, it doesn't make it a car.

Mobile versions of browsers are optimized for mobile devices. It is not possibly to have the same layout as desktop. Like your car example, there are different models with different features. This is the case.
