Brower crashes

When using my laptop Firefox crashes on start up and I can’t open in safe mode.

Lost passwords

This has happened before with excellent results. This time some things are missing. Most noticeably all my Firefox stored passwords. I really depend on that wonderful service you created as I am in my 70s and cannot keep all those passwords straight. My question, after all that, is can my passwords be retrieved? Does Firefox use a cloud to retrieve passwords in case of something like this? Please save me hours of work and worry. Firefox has been my go-to since I herd about it several years ago on NPR radio thank you MaryJane Smith ...

Yahoo passwords. How do I reach someone who actually works for Firefox?

Firefox randomly logs out of sites even when I've left the tabs open, and this week there have been problems with re-entering and resetting all the passwords. (Which is a HUGE waste of time and will keep Firefox from being my default browser when I get a laptop with enough working memory left to run anything else.) With Google and Twitter the password issues wasted only about half an hour, but with Yahoo there's still a problem. It looks as if Firefox is trying to re-enter the e-mail address into the password field even when I've typed in the password.

Linux portable FF

Hi, Apart from some references I had found going back up to 10 years, I cant find anything about making Firefox run completely from a usb stick.. I have used an appimage to install it on a usb, BUT it still creates a folder with the profile in the Home directory on the PC hard drive.. Can you please give me some idea of how I can move the folder location from the hard drive and have everything pointed to the usb.. I have used the profile manager to create a new profile based on the USB, and then deleted the Mozilla folder on the PC hard drive, but that breaks FF.

Firefox will not open

Having a problem getting Firefox to open. When you try to click on it it looks like it wants to open, but the homepage is blank. When I try to log in the page stays blank. I can see the menu bar but none of the choices will open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, each time removing any and all Firefox folders. Still will not open. Followed the steps for a clean install, no change. The last time I was downloading Firefox I received my first error message: c:\windows\system32\msvcp140.dll error message I get no other error messages, the home page stays blank.

It also seems like I can't access my saved logins/passwords in this older Firefox version because it's using a different profile. I'm trying to avoid updating Firefox on my other Windows 10 computer in case it fails in the same way.
