Thunderbird crashing every couple minutes... @ OOM | large | xul.dll and OOM | small (no add-ons)

Ugh.. A couple days ago Thunderbird started crashing every couple of minutes. It seems like the first one was in the middle of the night with no activity going on the computer. The crash report says this: MozCrashReason: [unhandlable oom] Failed not allocate new chunk during GC What does this mean? Is GC = garbage collection? How can I go about debugging this. TB only stays up for a couple minutes before it crashes again... Thanks, Jim

Thunderbird loads but then goes unresponsive. Have sent many crash reports but no feadback from Mozilla

I have used Thunderbird & Firefox for many years, and contribute from time to time. Now I need help. Thunderbird started to fail on this HP laptop some months ago, becoming unresponsive and crashing. Sometimes the Crash Reporter Crashes. Now Thunderbird it is unuseable, it loads and then goes unresponsive. I've tried reloading it, but have same problem. Does anyone read these crash reports? I've sent dozens. Who is checking compatibility between Mozilla Updates and Windows 10 Updates? What more information can I provide?

Thunderbird 78.5.0 (32-bit) constant crashing with Nvidia driver

I just installed the above version of TB on my (vintage) PC with Window 7 Pro OS. TB runs for no more than a minute or two, the screen begins blinking madly and then TB crashes. I have *no* idea where to even begin diagnosing the problem. Any and all advice greatly appreciated!

Thunderbird is STILL crashing every day and a lot of times

Thunderbird is crashing more and more everyday. I do not know how to fix this. When I have to reboot my laptop, I do not get the email I was working on. Super frustrating!!!!!!! If you have suggestions on how to fix this, please write it so I understand it. I am old and am not tech savvy. Thank you. Sandra

Thunderbird: everything gone after crash

Asking me if I want to set up an existing email account - all adresses are forgotten, mail is gone, accounts are gone, everything. Restarting without add-ons does not help. When I check the Profile folder, it's the right folder. All the mail seems to be in it: Thunderbird just doesn't show it. Your help would be greatly appreciated. This is the crash report:

Thunderbird 91.2.1 32-bit, preferences tab hangs, crashes

The latest Thunderbird works fine - until I open the Preferences tab, when it hangs, hogs a processor core, and allocates all available memory until crashing. Other tabs (calendar, add-ons, messages, release notes) all work OK.
